Gåologi

From June 2020, Alwynne Pritchard and Eva Pfitzenmaier spent a year walking the streets of Bergen municipality. They walked alone, each in her own time, writing letters to one another, in which they shared their thoughts and experiences.

Gåologi, the culmination of this process, is a music-theatre performance for domestic living rooms, created from these letters. It is a story of walking, encountering and reimagining. But it is also an invitation to question how we design, inhabit and move through the cities we build – and what this means for us when we return home.

Sharing letters, stories, imagined and poetic encounters with the audience, Gåologi is also a musical performance in which Alwynne and Eva are joined by the guitarist Ole André Farstad.
