The concert series Periferien is delighted to present the stage concert Performing Machines, with Thorolf Thuestad, Alwynne Pritchard and Caroline Eckly!

Kinetic sculptures and people in motion open unique channels for associations and narratives, in works that take us beyond the sound and into a scenic universe.

We get to experience expressive, fascinating, playful and poetic works by sound artist, composer, sound designer and kinetic sculptor Thorolf Thuestad, and by Alwynne Pritchard, who works with vocal and physical performance, sound, video and text. Both are artists who have worked extensively within expressions that are often described as composition in an extended field.
